You work in a bookstore.
It might be old or new. Loud or quiet.

Every day, someone walks through the door looking for something.
Sometimes they know what they want. Sometimes they don’t.

They might be searching for comfort.
For answers.
For escape.
For courage.
For distraction.
Or for a way to understand what they are feeling.

Over the next few days, you will meet strangers. You will listen to their stories.
You will recommend a book to them.

Later, you will find out whether it helped.

A Book for Everyone is a solo journaling tabletop RPG based on the Crafted in a Shell SRD. In this game, you play someone who works in a bookstore.

Each day, a new customer walks in. They may be searching for comfort, knowledge, distraction, or help with something they are going through.

You will listen to them, assess the situation, and recommend a book. You will then record each interaction in your journal.

At the end of the game, you will learn whether your recommendations truly helped the people who came through your door.

Game Details:
Game Type: Solo Journaling RPG.
Players: 1.
Session length: 1 - 2 hours (depending on how much you write).
PDF length: 21 pages (including covers).

Materials Needed:
A Tarot deck separated into the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana decks.
One 4-sided die - 1d4.
* Journal; notebook or a digital text processor and writing utensils (to use with a physical journal).
