How much would you sacrifice of yourself for a relationship?

SOLACE SOLUTION is a two-player game. It is a game about self-worth, about one's own value, contribution and self-determination regarding to a relationship, romantic or otherwise. It is about the little things that define you and your place in relation to another living being, and how we may only realise what they have led to towards the end.

The players take on the roles of two people whose relationship is no longer what it used to be and therefore want to brew a potion together to repair it. While choosing the ingredients they go through the reasons why they were close to each other and why they aren't anymore and have to decide at the end, if they really want to drink the potion.
The relationship can be romantic, or platonic (friends, business partners, clerk and loyal customers, work colleagues, etc.).

The game begins by roughly defining the characters and the nature of their relationships. In the course of the game, you will further develop the relationship by drawing cards and answering questions about both characters. In the end, you will get a potion with a potency ranging from harmless to mind-altering, and the question of whether the relationship is really worth drinking it.
