Morse City. It’s a city of black and white. Ones and zeroes. Dots and dashes. A city of droids that runs like clockwork, except when it doesn’t. And that’s where you—Drake Barcode, human PI—come in.

The plan was simple. Live among them. Think like a droid. Learn to approach your investigations with logic and rigour… then do the opposite, and crack the case with a chaotic, inimitable leap of human insight that nobody else in this city can match.

There’s just one problem.

You don’t speak Morse.

Drake Barcode: Morse Inspector is a comedic game of dice, ciphers, and investigation for one player, dabbling in the styles of adventures in the “choose your own” and “point and click” traditions.

Most importantly, it may also help you learn that most timely and important of modern digital skills, Morse Code. Encode and decode text to Morse to talk to droids and investigate clues. Wield dubious mnemonics. And reinforce your pattern recognition with the aid of a fistful of dice in tense situations.

To play, you will need a pen, paper, and eight six-sided dice.
