Paper Cuts

Paper Cuts is a one-page two-player letter-writing game about sapphic love, longing, and seeing your life be fractured by prejudice.

You play as lovers separated by the society you live in, writing in a desperate attempt to keep each other close in whatever way you can. You watch, together, as the people around you learn of your love, and reject it. Reject you. You dream, together, of escaping.

Written for the One-Page RPG Jam 2026.

Inspirations: This game owes a debt to The Winter Letters by Zoheb Mashiur, Stay in Touch by Ronnie Ritchie, and most of all to Together We Write Private Cathedrals by Ben Auden Rosswell.
