You've just arrived in the quaint town of Threadwyke, and some unusual feature in the square catches your eye. You ask the grandfatherly figure sitting by your inn's hearth if there is a story behind it. "Story?" he says. "It is no mere story, it is the Legend of Threadwyke!"
The Legend of Threadwyke is a one-page cozy solo journaling and sketching role playing game about recording a fragmented legend.
The game loop consists of two phases:
1. Talk to the townsfolk and record the bits of story they share.
2. Return to the hearth-keeper to confirm, correct, or dismiss your collected fragments.
You will also sketch an unusual feature in the town which commemorates the legend, adding details to your sketch as they emerge.
When the legend fragment tables are exhausted, your journal holds the complete and accurate Legend of Threadwyke! (At least according to the hearth-keeper.)
You Will Need:
This pamphlet: Your guide to the legend.
Dice: One six-sided (1d6).
Cards: One standard deck (Jokers removed).
Supplies: For journaling and sketching (a simple notebook and pencil are sufficient).
