Song of my Soul

Song of my Soul is a solo roleplaying game where you play the role of a bard in a fantasy setting. You will compose songs, develop a repertoire, play gigs and concerts, make friends and enemies, and watch your bard’s life unfold.

All you need to play is this book, a coin, and a deck of tarot cards, which are used for both skill checks and story inspiration.

No song-writing expertise is necessary, but if you are a song-writer you may enjoy fleshing out your songs with musical details.

The setting is malleable, and may change each time you play—or perhaps all your bards exist in the same world. While writing this game, I imagined the setting to be somewhere between The Elder Scrolls, The Witcher and some version of Dungeons and Dragons, but your bard could come from whatever setting you like, including one of your own creation.
