Full Description

Content Warning: This game explores intense themes of body, mind, and identity. Some of its imagery and prompts may be unsettling or triggering for certain players, particularly those with lived experiences related to medical trauma, invasive procedures, or anxiety. THE GAME In Synaptic Protocol, you play the role of a pilot undergoing a neural procedure that bonds your consciousness with a war mech's ECP or Eidolon Core Persona. When the procedure starts to fail, your mind floods with fragments of your past and invasive sensations. To survive and complete the protocol, you must reconstruct your memories while fighting the corruption that threatens to erase your identity. THE TURN FLOW > Draw a card to uncover a Memory Fragment from your past. > You start reconstructing your memory in your Log Book. > A second card adds Sensory Input. > Run a Stability Routine to see if your memory holds or fractures. > Fail, and your memory becomes corrupted by the ECP. > Succeed, and your memory remains intact. > Reach Synaptic Synchronicity before Neural Fragmentation to finish the protocol.
