A solo game of perseverance and hope, The Peace Engine puts you into the shoes of an Inventor with possibly one of the most impossible, impractical, illogical ideas imagined: build a machine that manufactures world peace. Through several phases of play, your Inventor will contend with Fate and the consequences of Research while constructing the titular Peace Engine, putting it through its paces via constant Testing, all of which should feel like you the player are building and running a recursive Rube Goldberg machine. Gauges will need to be checked, Limiters toggled, and Diagnostics monitored as you make it through the ups and downs that come with any life spent in such a pursuit. How do your Relationships factor in? What will be your Legacy? Will the constant draw of the Engine have an impact on your Health? Build the Engine and record your findings. Your failures. Perhaps even your success.
