Welcome to Sunnyside Bay You have lived in Sunnyside Bay, a small, seaside town, ever since you have memories. The town is a small, close-knitted community. Even though not everyone knows everyone, every child knows every child. That is, until a new family moves into Sunnyside Bay and becomes your neighbour. Summer at Sunnyside Bay is a cozy solo or duo slice-of-life journaling game inspired by Our Life: Beginnings & Always by GB Patch Games. This game focuses on building relationships and memories, while experiencing the pain and joy of growing up. In the game, you will play through 4 different stages of life: childhood, preadolescence, adolescence, and young adulthood. You begin your journey as an 8-year-old, on the day you meet your new Neighbour. A 4-year time skip occurs in between each stage, ending the game when you are 24-year-old. Throughout your journey, the relationship between you and your Neighbour changes. Perhaps you two begin as friends, slowly grow into a crush, and become a couple. Or maybe you start off on the wrong foot, remain hostile, until you two become friends. You can even stay as rivals from the beginning to the end.
