A Solo RPG of Regret, Redemption, and the Spirits of the Season.

Full Description

It’s Christmas Eve. The world outside glows with soft lights and distant laughter, but inside, the flat is quiet—too quiet. Then your phone lights up with a name you haven’t seen in years. A voice you thought long gone calls through the static... Before dawn, three spirits will visit you: One from the past One from the present One from the future They will show you who you were, who you are, and who you may yet become. Ghosts of Christmas is a quiet, reflective solo journaling game inspired by the themes of A Christmas Carol, reimagined for the modern world. There are no dice, no stats, and no complicated mechanics—just a deck of cards, a pen, and the truth you discover when the ghosts arrive. What You Need A standard deck of 52 cards. Something to write with. A quiet, comfortable space. How It Plays Across four acts, you’ll draw cards and respond to prompts about: Messages from someone departed. Memories long-buried. Realities you’re avoiding. Futures still forming. When the night ends, the colours of your final cards reveal whether you wake changed—or unchanged, still bound by the same weights you carried into Christmas Eve. Tone & Style This is a gentle game of introspection, honesty, and emotional storytelling. Play at your own pace. Skip prompts that feel too close. Let the game meet you where you are.
