A Piece of Cake?

Sounds like a piece of cake—right? But to bake all those tasty treats for yourself, you must gather ingredients and work hard. Life up here in the mountains can be wholesome but also harsh and festive baking isn't always a picnic! It can be a lonely life up here, but you are not completely alone. Through the darkness of winter evenings you can see the flickering lantern lights of other dwellings and see the blue smoke of wood fires curling through the trees. Other folks out there must be festive baking too... In this simple game, you (or you and up to three other friends) must gather scarce resources, avoid natural disasters and the harsh realities of mountain life, and choose to work with or against the other Mountain Folk to create some cozy treats to make your festive season cheerful!
