Your Dog's Shadow is a journaling game written with joy and grief about remembering the little details of life with a dog. Your goal is to give your dog a perfect version of a normal day, so that you can memorialize your time together. This is a game designed to be done by those who loved a dog, whether it is an individual or multiple people filling in prompts. It can be done about a dog that has recently passed, one you own and love now, one you owned years ago and wish to recall, or an imaginary one. The only requirement is that it is done with great love. Content Warning: This is a game about the loss of a beloved dog. By design, it asks the player to remember details of their life together, including (positive) aspects of your final days together. While the game’s intent is to celebrate and preserve these beautiful moments, reliving them can be difficult. Please take care of yourself.
