Every fantasy realm has legends of the time before, when gods were born, magic was wild, and the sentient peoples began their struggle to carve out civilizations in the chaos. This is the setting of Time of Dreams, a rules-lite fantasy world-building RPG. It is a mystical epoch where heroes known as Adepts delve into the Dream, an infinite dimension that holds every dream of every being and is the source of all things physical and metaphysical. Our heroes' exploits will become the legends recited around fires or the songs sung in taverns generations from now. This game can be played with a GM and a group of players, and it also includes rules for a solo journaling mode of play. In fact, the GM and players are encouraged to play solo between sessions so that they can bring to the group their new legends that stem from their adventures. This game is best for players who have some experience with RPGs, and it is ideal for those who wish to improve their gaming improvisational skills. It is a complete RPG, and a group can easily build a campaign with Time of Dreams, or it can be used as a refreshing one-shot detour from a group’s usual game. What's inside?
