Fable on your Table 2e

Featuring a robust hero creation system, flexible weapon and armor rules, affordable and easy-to-assemble papercraft minis and terrain, challenging skirmish rules, and an expansive dungeon environment to explore, Fable on your Table second edition is the long-awaited expanded edition of the original, well-received game. An implacable evil threatens the land, and it will take completing five quests to overcome it. Can you and your loyal companions rise to the challenge and defeat the nemesis, or will you meet your doom at the hands of the enemy? Explore a huge dungeon with pages and pages of hand-authored encounters. Play out battles with frightening monsters, implacable enemies, and challenging battlefield conditions. Collect loot and go to town to buy new weapons and armor, learn new spells, get new training, and secure new resources before heading back into the dungeon. When you complete a quest, you level up. Completing your fifth quest saves the realm and you win! But you only have a certain number of moon phases to do it—take too long, and evil overruns the land and you lose! Fable on Your Table (2nd edition) comes with: "Core Rulebook" Document – Contains character creation rules, rules of play, things you can spend your hard-earned loot on in town, rules for cooperative play, and other options and advice. Standard Papercraft – Contains papercraft minis and terrain for the base game. Print this out on card stock, cut it out, and glue it together to create the minis for your heroes, your companions, and other items like treasure chests, dungeon floor tiles, walls, etc. (It's not necessary for play, but we think it's really fun! And it's a dirt-cheap way to get into miniature wargaming on a budget.) Realm of the Wraith – The first questing realm for the game. Descend into the necropolis where the unquiet dead stirs and dark tidings are afoot. This is a "choose your own adventure" style document with over 400 custom-written numbered story entries filled with encounters, treasures, challenges, quests, and story. Realm of the Wraith Papercraft – Contains the papercraft monsters and scenery that is unique to this realm, like wall burial niches, stone coffins, and hordes of undead minions, plus stat cards for the enemies.
