The Other Side of the Door flips the script on traditional dungeon crawling. Players become goblin defenders protecting their warren from invading adventurers, while the DM finally gets to play—controlling a party of heroes storming your home to steal your treasure.
This isn't a standard adventure module. It's a complete tactical defense game combining tower defense strategy with tabletop roleplaying. Position your goblins, set your traps, and decide whether to fight or negotiate your way to survival.
Need at least two people to play this game, one person to take the role of the goblins and one person to take the role of the Dungeon Master who will be playing the heroes. The goblins set up their Warren, set some traps position their Goblins in each room, and then the Dungeon Master or Hero kicks open the door and starts adventuring through and combat plays out as standard Dungeons and Dragons five rule set. The round is done when the heroes reach the goblins' treasure.
The goblins win if they kill all the heroes or they can use their talkers and try to talk the heroes into fleeing or leaving (potential non-violent outcomes), it's a really fun game to play with somebody and it gives the Dungeon Master a chance to play heroes and the heroes a chance to play the goblins.
