Faint Crawl

How far have you fallen, and how much did you lose? Will you buy your way back, or fall into suffocating slumber? Regardless, can anything cushion your fall to the wastelands?

Faint Crawl is a Mothership 1E RPG map-making module for 1-4 players. In this low-combat setting, you are a hopeless soul doomed to wander the oxygen-thin derelicts of a once famous downtown core.

Cast down from the luxuries of Uptown, you awake in its oxygen-thin underbelly: the wasteland of the once-proud Downtown. You can get back to Uptown for a salvage fee of 10kcr – they call this nigh impossible rite the Faint Crawl. Will you earn your way back into Uptown?

Inspired by Cody Barr's Glide, this navigation module lets you cling to a sliver of hope while charting various sectors of the downtown core and building your narrative with those partaking in your Sisyphean task. Whether you are guided by a Warden, or trekking Wardenless, you will come out of this journey with a unique string of maps and encounters, dead or alive. Treat this world as its own setting or as a compatible setting for Tuesday Knight Games’s A Pound of Flesh to depict travelling in The Choke (pg 32) or The Sink (pg 34) of Prospero’s Dream.
